TED 2012: Amazing Cadavers

A virtual cadaver.  Digital dissection.  The magic of touch screens allows medical student to practice on digitally-rendered cadavers rather than the real thing.  The virtual dissection table lets you isolate particular organs, peel off skin or skeleton to leave a system of organs.  You can rotate the cadaver in different directions, and take successive cuts by simply moving your finger along the screen.

Each year, there are amazing technology demonstrations at TED.  Jack Choi of Anatomage blew us away with this demonstration. (When I first typed that name, I made a typo and typed Anatomagic.  That might be a more appropriate name.)
